IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), is an artificial technique that was successfully done for the first time in 1978. [2] The cervical cerclage is a mechanical method to prevent the shortening and opening too early of the cervix, causing either a late miscarriage or a preterm birth. [3] The aim of this study 1. To find if there are any relations between the IVF pregnancies ad cervical cerclage 2. The relation between cervical cerclage and the last week of pregnancy 3. To analyze the delivery methods at the patients with IVF and a cervical cerclage Methodology This is a prospective study. 119 pregnant women were analyzed during the research, after doing the IVF. 9 of these patients were with a cervical cerclage. These patients were hospitalized between January 2014 to December 2014 in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Prishtina. Results According to the results of this study, we can conclude that 9 patients out of 119 in total, were with a cervical cerclage. The delivery method and the last week of pregnancy were monitored during the research. 4 patients (44%) out of 9 patients in total ended their pregnancy in the week 34. 8 births (88%) were by cesarean delivery. 7 (78%) were male babies. 4 (44%) out of 9 patients, had no signs of pregnancy inducted hypertension, and 4 (44%) had signs of pregnancy inducted hypertension. One of the patients (11%) had signs of preeclampsia After the data analysis, we can conclude that although pregnant women with IVF had a cervical cerclage, in most of the cases the pregnancy ended in week 34.
