Laparoscopic neovagina creation by davydov's procedure: evaluation of the vaginal function and sexual satisfaction with follow-up to one year.

Context: Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is the most serious anomaly of the female reproductive tract. It consists of a congenital absence of vagina and absent or rudimentary uterus, as a consequence of the failure in the development of the Müllerian sketch of the vagina and the uterus. Typically, the diagnosis is made in adolescence, for lack of menarche or primary amenorrhea. Objective: Evaluation of the vaginal function and sexual satisfaction with follow-up to one year of three patients with congenital agenesia of vagina after laparoscopic neovagina creation by Davydov's procedure. Methods: A direct questioning was carried after one year of your surgery out for assessing your sexual satisfaction, sexual desire, excitement, lubrication, orgasm and dyspareunia. Patients: We present 5 clinical cases of congenital vaginal agenesis diagnosed with MRKH. Case 1. A 19-year-old female. Diagnosis of Type 1. Case 2. A 19-year-old female. Diagnosis of Type 1. Case 3. A 30-year-old female. Diagnosis of Type 2. Caso 4. A 22-year-old female. Diagnosis of Type 1. Caso 5. A 40-year-old. Diagnosis of Type 2. Interventions: All the patients were made surgery with laparoscopic neovagina creation by Davydov's procedurein 2016 and 2017. Main Outcome Measures: All the patients started sexual life, with vagina length of 9-11 cm and they remain in dilation with sexual partners and conformers and there has been a transition to the epithelium similar to that of the vagina. Results: Case 1. Sexual desire: medium, excitement: medium, lubrication: low, orgasm: low, pain: medium, Sexual satisfaction in general: medium. Case 2. Sexual desire: low, excitement: low, lubrication: low, orgasm: low, pain: medium, Sexual satisfaction in general: medium. Case 3. Sexual desire: low, excitement: low, lubrication: low, orgasm: medium, pain: low, Sexual satisfaction in general: medium. Case 4. Sexual desire medium, excitement: medium, lubrication: low, orgasm: low, pain: medium, Sexual satisfaction in general: medium. Case 5. Sexual desire: medium, excitement: low, lubrication: low, orgasm: low, pain: medium, Sexual satisfaction in general: medium. Conclusions: Although there is no quantitative method available for evaluation at present, Neovagina's creation with Davidov's technique offers promising results as an alternative to this group of patients, since it has been possible to improve the couple's relationship and the quality of life of patients.
